This video outlines the reasons I regret replacing my Blink video doorbell with the Ring video doorbell.
The main reason for me is the monthly subscription to access stored video. I understand both Ring and Blink require subscriptions but Blink offers specials from time-to-time of FREE storage subscriptions. We do not pay Blink any monthly fee for our storage as long as we do not exceed a certain amount. Also, videos will auto delete after 60 days. So if you want to save a video with our Blink plan, you must download it and save it elsewhere. The base Ring subscription when I installed the Ring video doorbell was $3.99 per month. This is required to access ANY recorded Ring video.
